SUMMARY:Smailholm Art Show Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Smailholm Art Show 3–4th October \nSmailholm Village Hall will be hosting its inaugural curated exhibition of three dimensional art\, with a prize awarded for the most outstanding piece. \nThis year’s theme is Water —explored through an exciting range of materials including ceramic\, glass\, mixed media\, fabric and sound. Come and see how local and regional artists have interpreted the theme in their own unique way. \nA panel of judges will select the finest works for display\, and a prize will be presented for the winning piece\, which will also go on to be exhibited across one of Live Borders’ 17 exhibition buildings. \nThe show is open both days from 10.00 – 4.30\, with home-made lunches and teas will be available throughout. \nAdmission is free\, so come along and be part of this exciting first chapter for the Smailholm Art Show. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to the village hall on 3rd–4th October. \nContact smailholm-artshow@gmail.com
