Charity Begins At Home

Charity Begins At Home sells second hand goods to benefit the people of Kelso and surrounding area. All monies raised are distributed in June of each year, between local charities, groups and good causes.

In 2013 the shop received ‘The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service’ which was presented by Lord Lieutenant Maitland Carew.

The shop is doing extremely well, thanks to the generosity of folk from Kelso and the surrounding area. Funds raised are approaching the three million pound mark – an incredible achievement!

Run by friendly local people, creating a happy welcoming atmosphere.  Come along to the end of Bridge Street, pop in, buy some bits and bobs, or make a donation, every little helps!
